Pushing for gender equity in banana sector

Against the backdrop of the World Banana Forum in Geneva on 8-9 November, Silvia Campos, FAIRTRADE Global Product Manager Banana, met with the rest of the members of the Banana Gender Equity Task Force.

The meeting coincided with the release of a new report co-published by Bananalink and Fairtrade International. The publication “<link http: fairtradeinternational.cmail20.com t r-l-jrjtulit-hddytjlulj-k>Progress Towards Gender Equity” in the Banana Industry, showcases eight inspiring case studies on how different stakeholders in the banana sector are supporting the empowerment of women.
